Life grows on and on…..

As you might have guessed, things are growing along at the ole farmette thanks to all of the rain we have been having which is great since that meant I didn’t have to cart over 55 gallons of water several times a week but now the tomatoes are looking like they have the dreaded black spot disease.  I’m assuming that’s from too much water and all the humidity and because I generally get whatever blight that any given vegetable variety of plant might get.  But they are still growing tomatoes and the cucumbers are growing cukes which then become Gems (pickles)!  Check it out!!

  1. I just got some Gina’s gems pickles at the Waldorf school of phila silent auction event, and the jar says please refrigerate. Does this mean always or just after opening?
They are really good, by the way.
